Dunkirk city lawmakers have approved a proposed 2018 city budget by a unanimous vote Tuesday. Second Ward Councilman Marty Bomanto says council made some minor changes to the tentative budget presented by Mayor Wilfred Rosas during two budget review sessions. The proposed spending plan does not change the city tax rate, nor sewer and water rates. Rosas presented his proposed $22.2 million budget on October 13.
