Authorities say one of two dogs rescued after a house fire in Jamestown is doing much better today. Jamestown Police say firefighter rescued the dogs when flames heavily damaged a home at 12 Mount Vernon Place on Thursday. Jamestown Police say Mia was found to be suffering from extreme neglect and has begun to undergo medical treatment. They also report the staff at Jamestown Veterinary Hospital have been able to trim Mia's hair. Police also report that Mia will soon be transferred to a local kennel where further care will be provided. 31-year-old David Wright, 39-year-old William Wright and 40-year-old Lisa Bortz are all facing charges of over-driving, torturing and injuring animals; and failure to provide proper sustenance.
