The Dunkirk City School District will be getting $454,400 in state funding to expand its afterschool programs. Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the funding today as part of $2.5 million awarded to four high-need school districts in Western New York. The governor's Empire State Afterschool Program has committed $35 million in the 2017-2018 budget to expand afterschool programs in the state.
