A 17-year-old Ashville female has been charged with assault 3rd and trespass after an altercation on West Main Street in the town of Ellington on Sunday. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to the altercation and further investigation led to appearance tickets being issued to the female teen who was not identified. She'll appear in Ellington Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
