Ground breaking held for Point Gratiot upgrades

Dunkirk city officials hope major upgrades are completed by Memorial Day 2018 at Point Gratiot, so that city residents and visitors alike can enjoy the park improvements next summer.  A ground breaking ceremony was held Monday for the project, helped along by a $500,000 state grant from area State Senator Cathy Young. Mayor Wilfred Rosas thanked Young, who was unable to attend the event. He says the project should provide some important upgrades to the park that he felt has been neglected for years...
