Fredonia firefighters responded to a dryer fire Sunday afternoon on Eagle Street. The fire at 63 Eagle was first reported as a structure fire. On arrival, crews found smoke coming from a side door and located the dryer which was on fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and used exhaust fans to clear the house of smoke. Fredonia Police and Alstar ambulance assisted at the scene. There were no injuries.
