A former Jamestown CODE employee is facing charges stemming from an investigation into unauthorized use of a credit card. The investigation by Jamestown Police revealed that 37-year-old Joey Weise had allegedly used a CODE credit card to make personal purchases while he was employed as a maintenance worker for CODE at 411 Winsor Street. Police say Weise made $504.67 of unauthorized purchases back in May. He was taken into custody Tuesday morning and was later found to be in possession of a small amount of crystal meth. Police have charged Weise with official misconduct and 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
