Fredonia Mayor Athanasia Landis is hopeful to have a new Village Attorney by sometime next month. Dr. Landis says they have received some applications for the position vacated by Todd Thomas in August. Thomas succeeded longtime Village Attorney Sam Drayo, who served the village for 48 years. Landis says with some applications in, she expects there to be interviews conducted sometime next week...

Depending on how the interviews go, Dr. Landis hopes to have someone on board in October.
