Another sweltering day of record heat on Monday, and may set another temperature record set today. For the second-day in a row, the summer-like heat break a high temperature record in Western New York. Meteorologist Dave Thomas with the National Weather Service in Buffalo says it reached 91 degrees Monday afternoon at the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport. That's a day after it hit the 90 degree mark for the first time all year...
Thomas-Made it to 91 degrees
It didn't quite make it to 90 at Chautauqua County Airports, reaching 87 at the Dunkirk Airport and 84 at the Chautauqua County Airport in Jamestown. Another record high is possible today with the summer-like heat continuing until a cold front cools things off by late Wednesday.
