Investigation into commercial burglaries results in seven arrests

Five juveniles and two adults are facing charges after a multi-agency investigation into several commercial burglaries and criminal mischief incidents that occurred over a seven-day period in Cattaraugus and Wyoming counties. The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation reports that two 18-year-olds, Dyllian Taggart of Delevan and Chester Piwowarczyk of Springville, were both charged with multiple counts of burglary 3rd, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal trespass and criminal mischief. The crime spree included burglaries at businesses in Yorkshire, Machias and Arcade and other criminal charges stemming from businesses in Yorkshire and Delevan. Taggart was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $50,000 bail and Piwowarszyk to the Wyoming County Jail on $10,000 bail.
