A Forestville man was hospitalized after a one-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in the Town of Sheridan. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene on Kuhrt Road just after 12:45 PM. The driver, 23-year-old Justin Way, told police that he went into a ditch to avoid striking a deer. Way was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
