An investigation into multiple vehicle larcenies in the Village of Silver Creek and the Town of Sheridan has led to three arrests. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office determined that 31-year-old Michael Vanschaick (pictured) and a 17-year-old male, both of Silver Creek, along with a juvenile, allegedly entered three vehicles last Friday, taking money, pills, and a debit card. All three are facing several charges, including 4th-degree grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny. Vanschaick is additionally facing charges of felony conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child due to him acting wtih the juvenile to commit the crimes. The juvenile will be petitioned to Chautauqua County Family Court.
