Two Jamestown residents are facing several weapon and drug charges following a search of an apartment Friday morning in the south county city. Jamestown Police received a 911 call shortly after 3:15 AM in which the caller reported that a gun was being pointed at someone. Officers responded to 601 Lafayette Street and found 26-year-old Juan Tufino inside a back bedroom of the lower apartment. Tufino was arrested due to having a valid order of protection to stay away from the residence. A search of the apartment revealed two loaded handguns, a large quantity of heroin and cocaine, and a large quantity of drug packing materials. Tufino (left), along with 30-year-old Sasha Montanez (right), were sent to the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment on numerous drug and weapon charges, as well as multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Police also arrested 27-year-old Jean Jimenez Camacho on an obstruction charge for initiating a foot pursuit with officers before the search. All three are in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
