The search for a missing Westfield man has ended, with the discovery of his body Wednesday afternoon in the village of Westfield. Westfield Police say they were called to a location off of Bourne Street around 3 pm where a body was found in a wooded area by the railroad tracks. A Chautauqua County coroner was also sent to the scene and authorities determined the body was that of 31-year-old Patrick Thompson. Police say that an autopsy will be performed, although no foul play is suspected. The Chautauqua County Forensic Team assisted Westfield Police at the scene.
