State Police issued more than 21,000 tickets during the June "Speed Week" campaign which ran June 7th through the 13th. Governor Andrew Cuomo says troopers ticketed over 9,400 drivers for speeding, arrested 268 people for DWI and investigated 315 personal injury accidents during the state-wide crack down. Over 3,300 tickets were handed out on the State Thruway, and more than 2,100 tickets were issued in Western New York.
