There are many who have called for New York State to have a constitutional convention, but holding one in the current political climate in Albany could be "devastating" to the state. Those are the feelings of State Senator Cathy Young and Assemblyman Andrew Goodell, who addressed the issue which will be up for a public referendum on this November's statewide ballot.
