Summer-like warmth Thursday afternoon boosted temperatures above the 80 degree mark. A new record high was set in Buffalo with a reading of 85 at about 1:45 PM, while the mercury at the Dunkirk Airport hit the 84-degree mark during the 2:00 hour.
