Investigation is continuing into a crash two vehicles including a State Police vehicle in village of Wellsville in Allegany County on Wednesday afternoon. State Police say that a SUV driven by 73-year-old Betty Lewis of Wellsville failed to stop for a red light at the intersection of Route 417 and Madison Street, striking the unmarked State Police vehicle. Both drivers were treated for injuries at Jones Memorial Hospital. No emergency lights were activated at the time of the crash and no charges have been filed at this time.
