Five streets on the paving schedule in Dunkirk

The city of Dunkirk, with the help of Chautauqua County's Department of Public Facilities, plan to begin street paving in the city during the first week of May.  That's the word from Dunkirk City DPW Director Bob Bankoski.  He says there are five streets involved during a two-week period starting on May 8, including Margay, Martin, McKinley between 4th and 5th streets and Pike and Plover from Lake Shore Drive to the railroad tracks...

Bankoski-Five streets will be paved in May

Bankoski says the county will return this fall to work with the city on other paving projects.  Crews also hope to begin potholes once the blacktop plant opens for the season.
