The City of Jamestown's top elected official says the nine arson fires set over four days last week are nothing short of "terrorism." Mayor Sam Teresi expressed his anger following Monday night's City Council voting session, where a few residents also expressed their concerns over the fires. Teresi says some may joke about fires in vacant homes being called "urban renewal," but he says it's not a laughing matter...

Teresi says last Friday night cost the city a lot in terms of manpower to put out five fires and investigate them. He says there will also be a large cost to the city to tear down structures that are too far gone to save. However, he says that's minor compared to the potential human cost.
