A Jamestown man faces alcohol- and marijuana-related charges after a traffic stop just outside the south county city on Saturday. State Police pulled over 44-year-old Matthew Carlson for a traffic violation on Route 430, and he allegedly failed several field sobriety tests. Troopers also found a bag of marijuana in Carlson's possession, and later determined that his blood alcohol content was .13%. Carlson is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later this month on charges of DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana.
