Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident in front of the Fredonia Wal-Mart on Saturday. Fredonia Police tell WDOE News that a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Julie Wilcox of Irving was traveling south on Bennett Road at about 7:30 PM, when a northbound vehicle operated by 37-year-old Angela Fuller of Jamestown made a left turn towards Wal-Mart. Both drivers told police that the traffic light at the intersection was yellow when the crash occurred. A passenger in Fuller's vehicle, 26-year-old Bryon Stalter, reportedly had to be freed from the vehicle by the Fredonia Fire Department with the Jaws of Life. Fuller and Stalter were both transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital. Police determined Fuller to be at fault in the crash. Alstar Ambulance, State Police, and the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office also assisted at the scene.
