Lake effect snow hits higher elevations

The latest lake effect snow event came off as predicted across the hill tops of Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.  The National Weather Service is continuing a Lake Effect Snow Warning until 4 pm today.  Meteorologist Dave Thomas at the Buffalo office says snowfall totals ranged from 8 to 14 inches across the Chautauqua Ridge, with lesser amounts along the Lake Erie shoreline...
