UPDATE: Cuomo Plans to Reveal State Budget to the Public This Evening

Details of Governor Andrew Cuomo's budget won't be released to the public until this evening. The Buffalo News is reporting that the governor will wait until 7:30 PM. The Senate majority was scheduled to get a briefing over lunch, and the Assembly majority will meet with Cuomo tonight. Area Assemblyman Andy Goodell, who is not a member of the majority, suspects he'll be going over the budget from a briefing book. When reached by WDOE News, Assemblyman Andy Goodell says Cuomo outlined a number of proposals during last week's State of the State messages, but Goodell wants to know how the governor intends to pay for them...

Goodell-Lots of questions

A set of budget bills must be formally introduced to the State Legislature by midnight.  Once he gets a copy of the budget, Goodell says he expects to do a lot of reading, since the budget is usually nearly a foot thick.
