Traffic stop results in drug charges against Jamestown man

A traffic stop in Jamestown last night for several alleged vehicle and traffic violations led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man for drug related charges.  Jamestown Police say the driver, Felix Rodriguez-Gomez, was allegedly operating the vehicle in the area of West 11th and North Main Streets while under the influence of narcotics with a 13-year-old passenger in the vehicle.  He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where police say they found that he was allegedly in possession of a large amount of heroin that was packaged consistent with trafficking.  Rodriguez Gomez has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, DWAI drugs, felony aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law, endangering the welfare of a child and numerous vehicle and traffic law violations.
