Three men involved in a major drug bust in the city of Dunkirk in June of 2015 were sentenced in U.S. District Court in Buffalo on Thursday. Acting U.S. Attorney James Kennedy Jr. announced that Rafael Burgos, Alvin Torres Jr. and Angel Pierluissi were sentenced by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth Wolford for their roles in a Dunkirk area cocaine conspiracy. Burgos who was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, five kilograms or more of cocaine was sentenced to 75 months in prison. Torres and Pierluissi, who were convicted of possessing with intent to distribute and distributing cocaine, were each sentenced to 18 months in prison.
