A traffic stop on Newland Avenue near Sampson Street in Jamestown Thursday afternoon eventually led to three arrests for possession of crystal meth. Jamestown Police say when they pulled over 32-year-old Beau KC Jones, suspected of being an unlicensed driver, they found a suspicious package in the vehicle. After obtaining a search warrant, police say they discovered the package contained more than 1 pound of crystal methamphtamine. Further investigation led police to later stop a second vehicle that was occupied by 20-year-old Steven Crowl and 30-year-old Matthew Jones. Investigators located a safe in the vehicle and after obtaining another search warrant, it was found to contain nearly 3 ounces of crystal meth. Beau KC Jones has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 1st degree along with other related charges. Crowl and Mathew Jones were both charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd.
