A former Jamestown Police officer will be spending a year in prison for making online death threats towards Jamestown-area law enforcement officers. 45-year-old Michael Bush was sentenced to 12 months in prison and three years supervised release Thursday in a Buffalo federal courtroom after pleading guilty in July to transmitting communications containing threats to injure the person of another. Prosecutors say Bush posted the death threats on Topix.com on January 2nd, 2015 and on February 26th, 2016.
