Progress update on Route 60 culvert replacement project

Work continues on the installation of a new precast box culvert on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret. Today on social media, the New York State Department of Transportation posted photos of the stages of the culvert installation from the site.  Route 60 has been down to a single lane since the project began earlier this year.  The project near Laona involves one of three deteriorated culverts that are replaced under the contract.  The other work involves culverts on I-86 in the towns of Coldspring and Randolph.
