A Jamestown man was charged after he was found to be driving under the influence of drugs in Gerry. On Saturday, State Police in Jamestown pulled over 19-year-old Dalton Gifford for traffic violations on Route 60. Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from Gifford's vehicle and took him into custody after he failed multiple field sobriety tests. A drug recognition expert later determined that Gifford was allegedly under the influence of marijuana. He was chargede with driving while ability impaired by drugs, and will appear in Gerry Town Court at a later date.
