A County Legislature committee will hold its first meeting later this week on the future of the Chautauqua County Home. Legislator John Runkle is chairing the ad hoc committee that will explore the viability of the facility located on Temple Road near Dunkirk.
Runkle-Committee meetings will be open to public
Runkle says the committee will include seven county legislators, some legislative staff, union representatives and a representative from the Center for Governmental Research. The Cassadaga area Republican expects the committee will hold a series of meetings over the next several months.
Runkle-No time table
The meeting will be held at 7pm this Thursday, February 16th. The session is open to the public in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building in Mayville.
