Firefighters from two area departments were called out to the scene of a fire involving a train locomotive on the CSX tracks near the Alleghany Road crossing in the town of Hanover around 3:30 pm Saturday afternoon. Silver Creek and Sunset Bay firefighters responded to the fire, with crews located the fire in the electrical panels of the the train. The Silver Creek Fire Department's Facebook page indicates that one of the train operators was transported to a local hospital for smoke related issues. Firefighters reportedly had the fire out in about 15 minutes.
