No injuries were reported, but a family from Indiana had its RV destroyed by fire Tuesday morning on Interstate 90 in Chautauqua County. State Police, along with Irving and Sunset Bay firefighters, responded to the westbound lanes of I-90 near Exit 58 shortly after 10:00 AM. According to Irving Fire Chief Gerald Rice, two girls inside the RV smelled smoke and alerted their mother. The father then pulled over, and all four were able to get out safely. Rice says a mechanical issue caused the blaze.
