New York State will provide $10.5 million in funding over five years to support six new Recovery Community and Outreach Centers across the state. Wednesday's announcement by Governor Andrew Cuomo comes after the recommendation by the governor's Heroin Task Force to expand support for individuals in recovery and their families. The funding includes $1.75 million for a recovery center in Buffalo.
