Two Jamestown men have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Scranton, Pennsylvania in connection with a series of break-ins at federally licensed gun stores in north central Pennsylvania within the past month. Jamestown Police came across one of the guns that was allegedly in the possession of 36-year-old Jason Thorn during a street check on June 17th, according to Police Captain Bob Samuelson. Samuelson-Street check leads to investigation
ATF and Jamestown Police were able to recover 55 stolen weapons. Police also arrested 31-year-old Ben McCormack for allegedly take part in what police believe was an effort to sell the guns on the local black market.
