Two Jamestown residents have been arrested for allegedly trafficking illegal drugs following a vehicle stop on Willard Street near Winsor Street last night. Jamestown police say they pulled over 24 year-old Ryan Baker just after 10 pm. Officers say they found several items used to package and distribute drugs inside the vehicle as well as a small amount of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Both Baker and his passenger, 20 year-old Alyssa Sheldon have been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. Sheldon was also charged with tampering with evidence after allegedly trying to hide some heroin and a hypodermic syringe in the backseat of a patrol car. Both are jailed pending arraignment.
