State Police in Olean say they are investigating the death of an 83-year-old Allegany man whose body was found in the Allegheny River near St. Bonaventure University yesterday. Troopers say they believe Robert Granger had been on a bicycle ride when he rested at a nearby park bench. Granger apparently fell down an embankment, entering the river. Investigators don't believe that foul play was involved. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
