An employee of a Gowanda area group home has pleaded guilty to a charge stemming from an incident where she repeatedly used a government issued credit card to make personal purchases. New York Inspector General Catherine Leahy Scott announced today the arrest and guilty plea of 37-year-old Corrine Alexander of Gowanda, a New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities employee. She pleaded guilty to attempted grand larceny in the 4th degree, a misdemeanor. As part of a plea agreement, she paid $1,000 restitution. Alexander is scheduled to reappear in court July 25 for sentencing.
