An Erie man has been charged with a DWI following a traffic stop in the Town of North Harmony early Sunday morning. Sheriff's deputies say they pulled over 47-year-old Benjamin Johnson for speeding on North Maple Street at around 2:45 AM. Upon investigation, it was discovered Johnson was allegedly intoxicated. Deputies also claim Johnson was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. Johnson has been charged with DWI, DWI of .08% or more, and unlawful possession of marijuana. He will appear in North Harmony Town Court next month.
