An investigation into a robbery-assault at a Jamestown residence two weeks ago has led to two arrests. A male victim told Jamestown Police that he was assaulted with a baseball bat and robbed of his money by several subjects at 248 Broadhead Avenue on January 23rd. The investigation revealed that 30-year-old Rocco Beardsley and a 16-year-old youth allegedly attacked and robbed the victim. The victim was taken to WCA Hospital and later transferred to the Hamot Medical Center, where he was treated for his injuries. Beardsley and the 16-year-old were charged with 2nd-degree assault and 1st-degree robbery and have been committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
