The Village of Forestville's drinking water is safe. That's according to a detailed report that the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services has received from the New York State Health Department. The State Health Department performed the independent and comprehensive review after residents questioned the safety of the of village's water supply. The village replaced their 120 year old springs with two new wells last year. Mark Stow of the County's DHHS spoke about the report.
