Charges have been filed against a man who is accused of fatally shooting a deputy near Houston, Texas. Authorities are charging 30-year-old Shannon Miles with capital murder after he allegedly shot 47-year-old Darren Goforth multiple times in what is being described as an "execution-style" killing. The incident occurred at a gas station in suburban Houston Friday night; Goforth was in uniform, filling up his patrol car when Miles allegedly ambushed him. Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman says the motive for the shooting remains unclear, but adds Goforth may have been targeted "because he wore a uniform."
