An on-going investigation into the sales and trafficking of narcotics in the Jamestown area has led to two arrests. Investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and State Police CNET carried out two search warrants. They made entry into 15 Shaw Avenue 8:45 this morning after an investigation revealed the location was being used for the sales and trafficking of crack cocaine. 31-year-old Tyrone Smith was taken into custody on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd. Investigators also entered 18 Shaw Avenue Thursday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of 29-year-old Omar Rosado for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree.
