A Jamestown man has been sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail after allegedly following and harassing another person from Family Court in Mayville in a vehicle on Tuesday. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies say 23-year-old Jonathan Vega-Rivera is accused of violating an order of protection and has a previous conviction in the last five years for criminal contempt. As a result, Vega-Rivera has been charged with criminal contempt in the 1st degree and harassment in the 2nd degree. After arraignment, Vega-Rivera was committed to the county jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
