A traffic stop on Alleghany Road in the town of Hanover late Friday night led to two men being charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Darien Jimerson of Gowanda for a traffic infraction. Further investigation revealed that Jimerson and a passenger, 18-year-old Emerson Stevens of Lawtons, were both in possession of marijuana. Both Jimerson and Stevens will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
