David Sweat has been released from Albany Medical Center and is now being housed at the Five Points Correctional Facility in Romulus in Seneca County according to state corrections officials. Sweat and Richard Matt escaped from the Clinton Correctional Facility in Northern New York a month ago, resulting in a large police manhunt. A federal agent fatally shot Matt, while Sweat suffered two gunshot wounds two days later and was captured.
