A Buffalo-area woman was charged after she allegedly caused a two-vehicle accident in the Town of Hanover that injured three people. According to Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies, 61-year-old Deborah Nye of West Seneca was southbound on Hanover Road just after 11:30 AM, and failed to yield the right of way at the intersection with Route 39. Nye allegedly pulled in front of another vehicle, causing a collision. Nye's passenger suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, while two people in the other vehicle were taken to Lake Shore Hospital with apparent non-life threatening injuries. Nye was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.
