Jamestown Police are continuing their investigation into an arson fire that occurred Falconer Street earlier this week. The blaze was set at a condemned home at 420 Falconer Street that was slated for demolition. Investigators are examining a pattern of other arsons that have taken place over the past several years at condemned or vacant buildings in the south county city, and they have determined that they are being set during nighttime hours between midnight and 6:00 AM. Jamestown Police are asking neighbors of these locations to be vigilant and be on the lookout for any suspicious activities, and call police when they are seen. Anyone who may have information on any of the arson fires that have occurred is asked to call the Jamestown Police Department's confidential tip line at 483-8477.
