The State University of New York at Fredonia has come up with a bright idea in recognition of April as Earth Month. The Lanford House, home of the university's president, has been turned green and will remain that way through the end of this month. Two LED lights in front of the home at 194 Central Avenue illuminate it from dusk to midnight. The lights were provided at no cost from ProQuip International, which is a tenant in the Fredonia Technology Incubator. Green lights are being used in other locations on the Fredonia campus, including around the clocktower at Symphony Circle and adjacent to the Williams Center bus stop.
