Area state lawmakers talk about the new state budget

Chautauqua County's two state lawmakers covered a number of issues when they appeared before the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce during the organization's annual State Legislative Breakfast in Lakewood today. While they expressed concerns about the budget making process, both State Senator Cathy Young and Assemblyman Andy Goodell felt there were several positives about the new state budget for Chautauqua County. Young was pleased it held spending growth to under 2 percent.
